New Delhi: Rumour has it that the culprit behind Kangana Ranaut's fiasco in 'Katti Batti' – which turned out to be a failure at the box office - is none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

According to a report by Bollywoodlife.com, the team of Kangana Ranaut says that it was Salman Khan who recommended the role of Payal to be played Kangana. Reportedly, he discussed it with director Nikhil Advani during the making of 'Hero'.

Now, a source close to Khan has rubbished all the blame and said it was entirely Kangana's decision to do the film.

The incidence seems to have ignited some indirect spat between the two actors.
